About Civil Department

The department has been imparting quality education to meet the technological advancement and industrial requirements. This has been made possible due to qualified and dedicated faculty, state of the art laboratories and infrastructure facilities.
The strength of department is attributed to learning oriented pedagogical practices by the experienced and committed faculty from diversified facets of Civil Engineering.
With the concurrent acquisition of technical skills in labs, inspiration and awakening of the young minds by vibrant faculty, the students are engaged intellectually, in the college.  These critical contributions lead the students to explore and discover the wonders of their minds, which in turn synergize together and enable the students transform themselves to become true engineers and technologists.

The department mission is to serve society, the public sector, and private industry by:
Providing undergraduate civil engineering education that prepares students to apply engineering knowledge to the diverse issues of resources, infrastructure and the built environment.
Producing engineers with self-confidence and overall personality who can be self employed and generate employment opportunities to fellow engineers and take active part in nation building, keeping in view the challenges of the future
Promoting innovative and original thinking in the minds of budding engineers to face the challenges of future.
