In order to meet the wide ranging, challenging and very rapidly growing Global Demands for “Professional Electronics and Communication Engineers” in this Hi-Tech Era, the Department of “Electronics and Communication Engineering” was established .
The Objective of the Institution is to impart “Quality Engineering Education” and promote the growth of effective, efficient and true Professionals, through adherence of the highest Standards of Academic Integrity and overall Ethical conduct, to develop a sense of Individual Responsibility and also to collectively Participate in reinforcing and maintaining an Environment of Honor, Trust and Standards.
The Department strives to develop long Term relationships with Industries and market the Student’s Talents effectively. The Students are thus provided high level ‘Leads and Pathways’ that enable them to gain access to a broad range of ‘high potential’ and ‘hi-tech’ Career Opportunities.

The department mission is to :

Graduates of the program are able to:

PEO1: Domain Knowledge: Synthesize mathematics, science, engineering fundamentals, and laboratory and attain practical experience to formulate and solve engineering problems in electronics engineering domain and use of electronic tools.
PEO2: Professional Employment: Succeed in entry-level engineering positions within the core electronic engineering or manufacturing firms in industries and with government agencies.
PEO3: Higher Degrees:Succeed in the pursuit of advanced degrees in engineering or other fields by applying mathematics, science, and engineering fundamentals.

Engineering graduates will be able to:

 Engineering Knowledge: Apply the knowledge of mathematics, science, engineering fundamentals, and an engineering specialization to the solution of complex engineering problems.

Problem Analysis: Identify, formulate, review research literature, and analyze complex engineering problems reaching substantiated conclusions using first principles of mathematics, natural sciences, and engineering sciences.

Design/development of solutions: Design solutions for complex engineering problems and design system components or processes that meet the specified needs with appropriate consideration for the public health and safety, and the cultural, and environmental considerations.

Conduct investigations of complex problems: Use research-based knowledge and research methods including design of experiments, analysis and interpretation of data, and synthesis of the information to provide valid conclusions.

Modern tool usage: Create, select, and apply appropriate techniques, resources, and modern engineering and IT tools including prediction and modeling to complex engineering activities with an understanding of the limitations.

The engineer and society: Apply reasoning informed by the contextual knowledge to assess societal, health, safety, legal and cultural issues and the consequent responsibilities relevant to the professional engineering practice.

Environment and sustainability: Understand the impact of the professional engineering solutions in societal and environmental contexts, and demonstrate the knowledge of, and need for sustainable development.
