VBIT IN association with JNTU-H started its NSS UNIT by name Dyuthi-NSS unit on 2008 at present it was headed by K.Satish Mehar Kumar as NSS coordinator.
Several activities were organized in and around the campus to name a few are blood donation program, books donation to government school children, charity programs Swaccha Bharath, village surveys, medical camps, tree plantation the unit got prestigious governor’s award for blood donation program. It participated in many events and spread awareness nearby village and towns on various social and other issues.
A special camp will be conducted in the end of each academic year and various programs like plastic awareness tobacco awareness, medical camp games for government school children will be conducted and national events like and independence day and republic day were celebrated. Fruits blankets were distributed by students for various charity organizations.
