Dr. Ch. VenkataRamana Reddy is a distinguished Academician and Researcher. He has 33 years of experience in Teaching, Research and Academic Administration. He served Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad (JNTUH) as Professor&Head, Department of Chemistry, Chairperson, Board of Studies for Chemistry, University Placement Officer, Director, University Industry Interaction Centre and Director of Admissions. He has published over 170 research papers in reputed Journals of Chemistry and Allied disciplines. He has authored 3 text books of Engineering Chemistry. 21 students were awarded with Ph.D. degrees in Chemistry under his guidance and supervision. 6 students are presently working under his supervision for their Ph.D Degree. He had successfully completed 3 Research projects (funded one each by UGC, DST(BRICS) and TEQIP(JNTUH)). He was the Convener for TSECET-2021. He is a recipient of State Meritorious Teacher Award from Govt. of Telangana (2021), ShikshaBharati Award from Indian Achievers Forum (2021). AdarshVidyaSaraswathiRashtriyaPuraskar from the Global Management Council (2016) and Teaching Excellence Award from the Indus Foundation, Inc. (2015). He wasa Zonal Committee member of CFE, Telangana State Pollution Control Board. He is a member of Academic Council and Governing Bodies of Various Autonomous Engineering, Science and Pharmacy Colleges. He has been an Editorial Board Member of a few Journals of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering. He visited USA and presented his research work in the ACS Conferences during 2014, 2015, 2016, 2018 and 2019. He has organized various seminars, workshops, conferences, FDP's and job fairs at JNTUH for the benefit of the students and faculty members. He is a member of Indian Chemical Society, American Chemical Society. ISTE and India Science Congress Association. He is also Fellow of Telangana Academy of Sciences.
