Dyuthi means the ray of hope. True to its meaning this unit set an example that how career and social responsibility should walk hand in hand.

A. Various competitions like Debate, Essay, Painting, Sports and Games were organized at Upper Primary School, Nagargomula Village on August 12th, 13th and 14, 2008. Prize distribution of these events was conducted on 15th August, 2008 in the presence of School & College management members. School uniform was distributed for 20 poor and deserving students. 35 volunteers of NSS-unit of VBIT were participated in this activity. (20,21,22)

B. Blood donation camp was organized on 5th January, 2009 with the help of Lions Club, Warangal. Total 360 students and faculty members donated blood.

C. On the eve of Republic day, NSS-unit organized various programs at government school Aushapur Village. Competitions were conducted on 23rd & 24th January, 2009. Prizes were distributed on 26th Jan, 09 at school premises in the presence Village Surpanch and Management members. School uniform was distributed to poor and needy students of the school. 23 volunteers were participated in this activity.
