I B Tech 2023-24 Orientation Programme.
Day 2 sessions
Forenoon: Session 1: Emotional Intelligence for Coping up with College Life Prof. Rajendra Tapadia, Director, Finishing School, Keshav Memorial Group of Institutions. Prof. Tapadia enlightened and interacted with the freshman engineering students about the factors of stress and effective ways of dealing with it. The speaker also conducted a Q&A session where several students enthusiastically interacted with Dr. Tapadia and got necessary explanations and clarifications.
Afternoon Sessions began with a Dr. Swarupa, Director, Student Affairs’ detailed presentation about the Student Activity Center of the Institute focussing on the various technical, co-curricular, extra curricular, cultural activities of the Institute and how they help the all-round development of the students enabling their leadership skills and empowering them for the future life.
Session 2 of the afternoon was a talk on the R22 Academic Regulations and Examination Rules & Guidelines. As part of the session, Dr. S. Pothalaiah, Director, Academic Planning and Dr. V. Sridhar Reddy, Controller of Examinations explained the academic rules & regulations, promotion and detention rules, internal & external examination pattern and guidelines etc.
Day 2 concluded with interactive presentations by a few Student Clubs and Forums. Student Leads of Coding Studio, EpsilonPi, Ganith, Google Crowd Source and Society for Automotive Engineering (SAE) clubs made their presentations briefing about objectives of their clubs, activities and plan of action for the ongoing academic year. They also interacted with the freshers inquiring about their interests in various technical and general activities.
