Orientation Day Programme. Day 1
ABOUT EVENT
Day 1 started with an engrossing and motivational session “The 3Cs of Life –
Clarity, Choice and Chance”
by Mr. Raghu Dutt, a renowned Sports Psychologist and Life Skills Trainer.
Session 2 in the forenoon was on the topic “Creativity at Grassroots – Learnings from Grassroots Innovators” by Br. Pogula Ganesham representing Palle Srujana, an NGO focussing on rural technologies and grassroot innovations.
Afternoon sessions began with a presentation by Prof. Ch. Venkata Ramana Reddy, Director, Freshman Engineering focussing on the faculty strength, I BTech Laboratories and best practices followed in the Department.
Day 1 concluded with the presentations by the Student Clubs and Forums. IEEE, IETE, Data Vedi, Abhedya and Virinchi Clubs made their presentations briefing about their respective objectives, activities and plan of action for the current academic year. They also interacted with the Students of Freshman Engineering embarking on an exciting four-year journey in the Institute.
