The Ammaodi Orphanage is a non-profit organization founded by Dr. Azmeera Mohan with the objective of providing solutions for orphans. He started the organization with a few children and has since been helping many children and elderly people through programs such as Amma Odi Orphanage, Old Age Home, Anna Datha program, and Balika Vidy Vikas.

This is achieved by providing them with free basic school education, a healthy home atmosphere, and guiding these children towards understanding the importance of healthy living, thus securing a place for them within the rest of society.
